ASPEN | Aspen is a 5-month old spayed female shepherd mix. She is most likely the litter-mate to Juniper [see Juniper bio in ADOPTED]. They were found in a desolate canyon adjacent to a high-speed roadway in extreme heat, without a tag or a microchip. They had no access to food or water. They leaped into the hands of their rescuers, thankful that someone had stopped. They would likely not have survived another day in those conditions. Authorities were contacted and a search for their home yielded no results. So, Aspen and Juniper are now in our safety net.

Aspen does well with other dogs and loves people. She will benefit from some basic obedience once in her new home, but this will be easy – she is exceptionally smart. She has had her first training session with a professional and she charmed the pants off of everyone.
