AMBER | Amber is a 3 year old spayed female German Shepherd. She came to us from a partner animal shelter in Southern California where she had been relinquished by her owner. At the shelter, she quickly became a staff favorite. In fact, the shelter so loved her that they kept her for a full 7-months in hope of finding her a home. When she ran out of all other options, we stepped in and made room for her in our program.

Since Amber is still new to us, we are still getting to know her. She came out of the shelter understandably frightened, timid and a bit skittish, but quickly bonded with our team. In no time at all, she was all smiles with her new friends. Our initial impressions tell us that she will do best in a home with a gentle, calm owner. Other dogs will probably be ok. Small children will likely not be a good fit.
