BONNIE | Bonnie is a 5 year old spayed female German Shepherd. She came to us from a partner animal shelter in rural Central California where she had been relinquished by her owner when they moved. Given her dire situation at the shelter, we made room for her in our program.

Bonnie was moderately dog-reactive at the shelter, but since coming to us, she has made great progress around other dogs. Since Bonnie had befriended another female dog in our program, we believe that she will ultimately be fine in a multi-dog home. Cats or small dogs however, are likely not in her future. Bonnie is still working on her obedience skills, but does well with most people she meets. Like most Shepherds, we do expect her to be protective of her family.
