BLACKJACK | For reasons that are not clear to us, Blackjack was surrendered to a public animal shelter where he was given no chance of survival. The shelter’s only notes were “very gentle” and “listens”. Blackjack’s animated and happy personality have made him a volunteer and kennel-worker favorite. We estimate that he is between 3 and 4 years of age. He is a confident shepherd that demands your attention. If you ignore him, he will tell you so and request that you immediately involve him in your current activities. Blackjack loves the water and could spend hours chasing sprinkler water. He is very social with both people and other animals. Blackjack walks well on lead. Training is in process.
